Amounts use the same currency as your input. No currency conversion is performed. Amounts are rounded to two decimal places; percentages to four. Taxes and fees are excluded unless included in your input.
How to calculate a discount
Enter the original price, discount percentage, optional second discount, and quantity. Select Calculate to see the final price and your savings.
Formula and example
Final price = original price × (1 − first discount ÷ 100) × (1 − additional discount ÷ 100). A 100 item with 20% off and another 10% off costs 72, saving 28. Two items cost 144 before tax.
Common questions
Do two discounts add together?
No. An additional discount applies to the already reduced price. In the example above, the effective discount is 28%, not 30%.
Can I compare offers?
Calculate each offer using the same starting price and quantity, then compare final totals. Delivery, fees, and tax may change the better deal.
Does this include sales tax?
No. Add applicable taxes and fees separately.
